Yoga Basics

When: Saturday at 9.30am 
Suitable for: Absolute beginners and those looking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the practice

 

In this class Mary will break down the fundamental aspects of yoga, not only demonstrating how to execute poses but also delving into the underlying reasons for their incorporation into the practice. Mary will use her knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and alignment to guide you through the foundational poses. She will empower you with the skills and confidence to modify poses according to your own unique needs allowing you to get the most from your practice. You will learn the hows and whys of yoga which will allow you to confidently develop a home practice. Mary’s aim is to create an inclusive space where individuals can explore their own practice and become curious about their bodies regardless of experience level.
