Tina Kennedy

Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher

Tina is a yoga and mindfulness teacher, as well as a musician and singer. Since qualifying as a 200HR RYT in 2021 she has worked with many different organisations teaching young people and adults a range of yoga, mindfulness and meditation practices; as well as teaching regularly in studios based around the midlands. Her passion for yoga lies in the spiritual, philosophical and healing elements of the practice and over her years of self-practice and study she has found a deep sense of calm and connection, as well as a dedication to life-long learning.

Tina believes learning must be fun and loves to create a safe space for her students to relax, explore and play. It is vital that students can feel comfortable and that classes and spaces are made accessible, welcoming and nurturing. For Tina, as a teacher her classes are fundamentally about her students and their experience.

She has been working with young people for the past year and a half as a Mindfulness Teacher, and is enthusiastic about sharing the wisdom and teachings of yoga to young minds and hearts. Tina is an animal lover and spends much of her time close to her four-legged friends. She also has a deep love and respect for nature and loves walking in the wilderness. Usually barefoot :)

Tina has additional training in Pregnancy Yoga, having completed her 50 hour Pre and Post-Natal Teacher Training and is also trained in facilitating Laughter Yoga, a fun and dynamic practice that can reduce stress and anxiety and help boost happy hormones in the body.
